About Miss Bee's
Miss Bee's Tutoring is a boutique learning center that provides the highest quality tutoring and academic support to our local children in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our diverse group of educators is composed of credentialed teachers, many who have graduate level education awarding them MA degrees and PhD's. Each of our educators has their own areas of academic expertise and extracurricular talents. Together we make a strong, diverse, and collaborative team, whose aim is to work together to best support the vast range of academic, social, and emotional needs of the children in our local community.
At our unique facility we expertly match each student with a tutor who is equipped to best meet the student's individual needs. We are here to not only tutor your children, but to build their self-confidence and sense of self-efficacy. As educators we understand the importance of a child's ability to self manage and its role in alleviating the homework stress for both parents and children. At Miss Bee's Tutoring we provide the tools and study skills necessary to develop this ability so students can become self-learners and reach their learning potential.
In addition to one on one tutoring, we offer paired tutoring, and an afterschool homework club. At our homework club the students are supervised by our teachers and have access to Mac computers, printers, and all project supplies. Students are kept on task and receive homework assistance so they can get their work completed.
Miss Bee's Tutoring also values and understands the importance of extracurricular and creative outlets for students of all ages. Our enrichment program is designed to meet these needs. Please ask us about our art enrichment classes/ community projects and our extracurricular workshops which include drama, web design, photography, book publishing, film making, news casting, journalism, and science exploration to name a few! Learning outside of the box is invaluable and we are very excited to be able to offer such opportunities and learning experiences to students of all ages.
